    Former Adult in Custody Carolyn Kerleine first met the Rotary Club of Wilsonville through Through a Child’s Eyes (TACE) at Coffee Creek. While incarcerated, she became a Distinguished Toastmaster, spent more than 15 years in the Coffee Creek Puppy Program, and began supporting an orphanage in Uganda. In 2025, she traveled there to meet the student she sponsored and serve at the children’s village. Today, she aids others with reentry and is part of a certified therapy dog team with Canine Companions.

Adrienne will share insights into Kitakata’s geography, rich traditions, historic storehouses, and world-famous ramen, along with stories of how the partnership continues to foster exchange between our two communities.
