Club Meeting: Disaster Preparedness

Daniel Nibouar of Clackamas County and Martin Montalvo of the city of Wilsonville will speak on the topic of disaster preparedness.

Daniel Nibouar, director of the Clackamas County Office of Disaster Management, and Martin Montalvo, public works operations manager for the city of Wilsonville, will speak on the topic of disaster preparedness. Don’t wait for the next winter storm or wildfire to decide how to protect your family and home. Join us to learn how to break down the complex task of disaster preparedness into small, manageable steps that build lasting resilience for you and your Wilsonville neighbors.

About the speakers: Daniel Nibouar is the Disaster Management Director for Clackamas County. With over 20 years of experience in the field and a Master’s degree in Emergency Management, he has successfully navigated the county through major disasters, from historic wildfires and extreme winter weather to significant flooding. Daniel is dedicated to fostering a culture of readiness and resilience within and across Clackamas County. Martin Montalvo is the public works operations manager for the city of Wilsonville. He has nearly 30 years of public works experience, working in Florida and in Milaukie, Oregon before coming here. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Florida and served in the Coast Guard Reserve.

About our club: The Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community.
