Rotary clubs worldwide are fighting to End Polio Now! They’ve been raising funds, vaccinating children and providing essential services to polio survivors since 1985.
There has been a 99.9% reduction in polio cases worlddwide since 1988. There remain isolated cases in some countries, but the disease is now endemic (regularly occuring) in just two ountries — Pakistan and Afghanistan.
With your help, we’ll make it zero!
At this year’s Wilsonville Rotary Summer Concerts you’ll have the opportunity to give to help end this disease. Your contribution will receive a two-to-one match from the Gates Foundation.
$20 becomes $60. $50 becomes $150. That's impact!
Rotary has already contributed $2.9 billion over the years to this fight. Resulting funds are used on the ground, funding immunization campaigns in developing countries. In these remote places, polio continues to infect and paralyze children, robbing them of their futures and compounding the hardships faced by their families. We can end this threat forever!
