These talks are an early step toward becoming an engaged member and offer a welcoming way to introduce newer Rotarians. Beth Huggins shares how regenerative cacao agroforestry in coastal Ecuador restores land, supports biodiversity, and strengthens economic stability for rural farming communities through a science-based, community-led approach.

Rotarian Hilly Alexander shares how Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library expands across Oregon, with the Wilsonville Public Library Foundation and Wilsonville Rotary Foundation bringing books to local children and families.

Wilsonville and West Linn high school students from Error Code Xero share how their award-winning robotics team designs and competes internationally while building technical skills, leadership, mentorship, and community outreach.

Pat Wolfram, District Governor Nominee for Rotary District 5100 for the 2026–27 Rotary year, will share insights on servant leadership and how listening, empowerment, and purpose help Rotary clubs grow stronger over time.

Rotarian Zoe Niklas will share her personal story drawn from her published childhood memoir, Driving in the Dark, exploring how life’s challenges, creativity, and resilience can shape growth, purpose, and connection.

Dryden Driggers shares how Community Warehouse helps families create safe, comfortable homes by collecting and delivering donated furniture and household goods, and how everyday items and community support make a difference.

John Rockrohr of Our Biz is BEES will share a hands on look at beekeeping, including a live demonstration hive with bees safely enclosed behind glass. This interactive presentation offers a unique opportunity to observe bees in action and learn from a local beekeeper based off Stafford Road in Tualatin.
