Anna Bledsoe of the Volunteers of America Oregon will speak on the topic of bystander intervention. VOA Oregon's bystander intervention workshop seeks to equip program participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to become helpful and effective bystanders.
Bob Gregory of the Longview Noon Rotary Club will give a presentation on the club's Freedom Flags project, which allows residents to have an American flag displayed at their curb on four holidays — Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veterans Day — for a $50 annual subscription fee.
Local author Kerry Eggers will give a presentation on his latest book, “Jerome Kersey: Overcoming the Odds,” a biography of the late Portland Trail Blazers legend. The biography was released in October by Dementi Milestone Publishing of Manakin-Sabot, Va. Eggers will have autographed copies available for sale.

Local dentist Dr. Steven Duffin will discuss his recent trip to the Andes Mountains in Bolivia to treat dental decay in children using a novel approach that applies medicine rather than using the traditional drills, needles and fillings.
