DESCRIPTION:Rotary Peacebuilder Clubs understand Positive Peace – the idea that peace requires more than the absence of war. Thailand is not at war\, but “slow violence” is happening. There are winners and losers in the “green revolution.” How do people resist violence that is invisible to people just a few miles away? Rotary Peace Fellow Andy Stone will share his insights. \nAbout us: The Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. He is a Rotary Peace Fellow (Chula 2020)\, IEP Ambassador\, systems ecologist\, teacher\, and researcher. He focuses on mutually beneficial relationships between river people of the Mekong and Columbia River basins.
