SUMMARY:Club Meeting:  Meet Our New Police Chief Jed Wilson
DESCRIPTION:Police Chief Jed Wilson will introduce himself as Wilsonville’s new Police Chief and provide an overview of the Wilsonville Police Department. His presentation will focus on the department’s structure\, how it operates\, and the contracted services provided through the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. He will also share recent crime data and explain how the department responds to crime in the Wilsonville community. \nThis presentation offers an opportunity to learn more about the Wilsonville Police Department\, its partnerships\, and how law enforcement works to support public safety and serve residents. \nThe Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. Guests are welcome. Lunch is available off the menu; please arrive and order by 11:45 a.m. if you are ordering lunch. For more information\, email president@wilsonvillerotary.com. \nOfficial bio:   \nJed Wilson began his law enforcement career with the City of Albany\, Oregon Police Department in 2004\, where he served as a patrol officer\, crisis negotiator\, and SWAT team member. In 2014\, Jed was hired by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and spent his first few years serving the City of Wilsonville as a graveyard and swing shift deputy. He has also served as a marine deputy\, detective\, and sergeant\, and was most recently assigned to the Investigations Division as a lieutenant prior to being named Chief of the Wilsonville Police Department. \nJed is married with two teenage boys and enjoys snowboarding\, mountain biking\, hunting\, and playing guitar. \n\n\n	Related
