Dryden Driggers, Outreach Coordinator for Community Warehouse, will share how Portland’s local furniture bank provides stability, comfort, and dignity for neighbors working to overcome adversity. Her presentation will offer a clear look at how the organization collects donated furniture and household goods and partners with social service agencies to ensure these essential items reach families who need them most.
She will highlight what a furnished home can mean for a family rebuilding their life, the simple household items that make the greatest difference, and the role Community Warehouse plays in supporting long-term success for thousands of local residents. Dryden will also share practical ways individuals and organizations can support the mission, help strengthen the supply of donated goods, and make it possible for more families to live in safe, comfortable, and fully furnished homes.
The Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. Guests are welcome. Dryden Driggers is Community Warehouse’s Outreach Coordinator and loves to talk about reuse. She has worked at fellow reuse organization, SCRAP and is a Master Recycler. She is also the owner of The Resourceress, an organizational business focusing on financial and administrative organization, as well as helping match people’s donations to local organizations that could use these items to their fullest.
In her free time, she likes to do various fiber arts projects, hunt for cool rocks, play with her puppy, and work on house projects.
