DESCRIPTION:Kaylee Chrystal serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Oregon\, a role she took on in 2024. She is committed to supporting the program’s partners\, volunteers\, staff\, and supporters statewide. One of her key responsibilities is bringing Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to every county in Oregon\, ensuring children in all communities have access to this valuable resource. \nDolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a global book gifting initiative that sends a free\, high-quality\, age-appropriate book each month to children from birth until their 5th birthday\, regardless of family income. In her presentation\, “Expanding Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Across Oregon\,” Kaylee will share updates on the program’s statewide expansion and its goal of reaching children in every zip code. She will also discuss how community members can play a role in helping bring books to the hands of young children across Oregon\, fostering a love for reading from an early age. \nThe Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community.
