DESCRIPTION:Lane Thompson\, Student Loan Ombudsman from the Oregon Division of Financial Regulation (DCBS)\, will provide valuable insights into navigating student loan repayment options and understanding the current state of student loans. \nWith more than 500\,000 Oregonians carrying student loan debt\, which is the second-largest form of consumer debt nationwide\, this presentation will shed light on what a student loan ombudsman does\, how they can assist borrowers\, and the resources available to help Oregonians make informed financial decisions. \nThe Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community.
