DESCRIPTION:Sheriff Angela Brandenburg of the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) will be giving an update on the CCSO. She will discuss her priorities for improving the department to meet public safety needs\, focusing on transparency\, accountability\, and innovative approaches to law enforcement. This presentation will provide valuable insights into the latest developments and initiatives aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of Clackamas County residents. \nThe Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. Guests are welcome. Lunch is available off the menu; please arrive and order by 11:45 a.m. if you are ordering lunch. For more information\, email president@wilsonvillerotary.com. \nOfficial bio:   \nClackamas County Sheriff Angela Brandenburg was first elected in 2020 and re-elected in 2024\, becoming the county’s 33rd sheriff since William Livingston Holmes first took up the post in 1845. \nSheriff Brandenburg has served with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office for over 30 years. She is also a veteran who served nine years in the Oregon Army National Guard. Throughout her career at the Sheriff’s Office\, she has held various roles\, including Reserve Deputy\, Patrol Deputy\, Civil Deputy\, Patrol Sergeant\, Civil Sergeant\, and Civil Commander Lieutenant. She also spent five years as the Public Information Officer\, was a member of both Search & Rescue and the SWAT Team\, and served as a Patrol Field Training Officer. \nBefore taking over as Undersheriff in February 2019\, Brandenburg served for five years as the Director of A Safe Place Family Justice Center and led CCSO’s Domestic Violence Enhanced Response Team (DVERT). \nSheriff Brandenburg lives in Molalla with her husband and two children. \n\n\n	Related
