Daniel Canhola is an Occupational Therapist and Multisite Manager as an Area Director for Consonus Healthcare here in Oregon. Daniel will present on the profession of occupational therapy for individual, community, and workplace benefits. The presentation will define “occupation” in Occupational Therapy and why it is important.

Daniel Canhola is an Occupational Therapist and Multisite Manager as an Area Director for Consonus Healthcare here in Oregon. Daniel will present on the profession of occupational therapy for individual, community, and workplace benefits. The presentation will define “occupation” in Occupational Therapy and why it is important.

The Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. Guests are welcome. Official bio:

Daniel Canhola is an Occupational Therapist and Multisite Manager as an Area Director for Consonus Healthcare here in Oregon. He graduated in 1987 San Jose State University graduate in Occupational Therapy and has clinical experiences with psychiatric, acute hospital, home health, and skilled nursing settings.

Leadership and mentoring healthcare leaders are Daniel’s passion. With over 30 years in healthcare leadership, his experiences include managing an outpatient industrial return to work clinic, and Rehabilitation Area/Regional Director for skilled nursing.

Daniel lives a life of volunteerism including Board Member of Occupational Therapy State Associations, adjunct lecturer for local college and university, falls prevention committee member, and a graduate of The Wilsonville Civics Academy.

Daniel’s “Why” is coaching individuals to be the best version of themselves. As a result, he was involved in creating his company’s DEIB initiative, and being an occupational therapist and leader. His passion is sharing the value of occupational therapy.

Daniel resides in Wilsonville with his wife of 35 years. He enjoys ‘empty nesting’ and is looking forward to retirement. On his free time, he enjoys learning the harmonica, photography, Zumba and loves Dad jokes.
