John Budiao, Founder/CEO of nonprofit Operation Spartan Flag, will speak on the mission, vision, and purpose of operating wood work shop for Veterans who can come and feel useful building things with their own hands. 

The Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. Guests are welcome. Lunch is available off the menu; please arrive and order by 11:45 a.m. if you are ordering lunch. For more information, email president@wilsonvillerotary.com.

Official bio:  John Budiao is a Communications & Controls Technician with a Portland, Oregon natural gas utility company and lives in the Wilsonville, Oregon. He is a State of Oregon Licensed Electrician, General Radio Operator w/ LASER Endorsed technician responsible for company microwave, radio, data cabling, PLC programming, data center building, gas pipe telemetry, tower climbing, and many other company driven tasks. He enjoys camping, reading, running, movies, and most of all spending time with his beautiful wife (Katherine) and his two sons Joshua & Trevor. He looks forward to complete his “life list” of many different activities, helping his youngest son become an Eagle Scout, traveling, and becoming the person he can be. On his free time, he started and is the founder of the non-profit Operation Spartan Flags.

Captain John S. Budiao entered the armed services 28, March 1994 as a US Marine Corps Infantry (0311) member. After his 4 years in the Infantry, he re-enlisted into the United States Air Force Reserve (2002) to the field of Information Management (3AO71) to lead his Squadron as a decorated Records Manager.
