Summer Concert: Hit Machine

Get ready for a full night of music, energy, and entertainment at Town Center Park. The evening kicks off with a soulful performance by Christina Cooper at 5:30 p.m., blending swampy blues, Americana, and country folk. Then at 6:30 p.m., Hit Machine, led by Bart Hafeman, takes the stage. This high-energy seven-piece Top 40/variety/dance band is known for vibrant performances, synchronized dance moves, and crowd interaction that keeps everyone on their feet. A favorite throughout the Portland Metro area, Hit Machine has headlined major events and performed for clients like Nike and Intel.

Hit Machine, founded by Bart Hafeman, is a high-energy Top 40/variety/dance band celebrated for its electric live performances. Expect a lineup of hits ranging from classics like the Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive” to rocking anthems by AC/DC. The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with opening act Christina Cooper, a soulful Pacific Northwest-based singer-songwriter whose blend of swampy blues, Americana, and country folk sets the tone for a heartfelt and entertaining night. Then at 6:30 p.m., Hit Machine takes the stage to deliver a night of nonstop energy, dancing, and musical fun.

Having become a staple in the Portland Metro area, Hit Machine’s reputation precedes them, having headlined significant local events such as the Hood to Coast relay and Fort Vancouver Fireworks. This band not only brings great music but also a lively spirit that enhances every concert experience.

Wilsonville Rotary Summer Concerts were started in 2002 as the club’s gift back to the Wilsonville community, held at Wilsonville’s Town Center Park. Hit Machine
Founded by Bart Hafeman, Hit Machine is a dynamic seven-piece band known for their high-energy performances and engaging stage presence. The band masterfully covers a wide range of hits from various eras, including classics like “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees, “Kiss” by Prince, “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz, and “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC. Their performances are enhanced by synchronized dance moves and crowd involvement, creating a memorable experience for all attendees.

Hit Machine is adaptable, capable of featuring themed sets such as disco nights or ’80s rock, and offers both live and pre-recorded dinner music to suit the ambiance of any evening. The band’s lineup can also be expanded to include a three-piece horn section and additional female vocalists, adding even more depth to their sound. With a history of headlining major local events—including Hood to Coast in Seaside, the Fort Vancouver Fireworks, Blazer Playoff games, and shows for top-tier corporate clients like Nike and Intel—Hit Machine brings a proven track record of thrilling audiences across the Portland Metro area.

Christina Cooper
Pacific Northwest-based singer-songwriter Christina Cooper blends swampy blues, Americana, and country folk into a soulful, heartfelt sound. A local favorite for over 15 years, she’s performed at wineries, galas, and special events across the region. Her debut album No Other Place—a raw, rootsy collection—is streaming everywhere.

Inspired by iconic female vocalists like Ann Wilson, Linda Ronstadt, and The Judds, Christina’s powerful voice and authentic storytelling set her apart. When she’s not performing, she’s a successful entrepreneur, a hairstylist of 26 years, and a proud mom of three.
