SUMMARY:Club Meeting: Water Project in India
DESCRIPTION:Sujan Shadrak will speak about Water Project in India.  He created a fundraiser to buy reusable stainless steel water bottles for underprivileged kids in India.  Sujan has used the money raised from GoFundMe and from the generous donations of members of Wilsonville Rotary Club to buy reusable stainless steel water bottles. Sujan will be discussing how the fundraiser went\, along with pictures and statistics to show the members how their money was spent\, and what is to come of this project in the future. \nThe Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. Guests are welcome. Lunch is available off the menu; please arrive and order by 11:45 a.m. if you are ordering lunch. His main initiative for a reusable water bottle fundraiser was from his grandparents\, who told him about the single-use plastic water bottles that kids in underprivileged areas used and threw away on a daily basis. He has great interest in reducing plastic waste as he has researched bioplastics in hope of developing a sustainable biodegradable plastic that can one day replace plastic all around the world.
