DESCRIPTION:Andrea Logan Sanders\, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Aid\, will discuss what Boys & Girls Aid (BGAid) does for the Oregon youth they serve.  Andrea will be sharing:   \n     •	The Heart of BGA Mission:  Sharing the core mission and values of BGAid. The inspiration that started BGAid in 1885 and how the mission has evolved over the years.\n     •	Notable Achievements: Sharing the most significant achievements and impact BGAid has made. Also\, specific stories or initiatives that have had a lasting and meaningful effect on the communities BGAid\n        serves.\n     •	Future Initiatives and Collaborations:  Sharing exciting projects\, programs\, or partnerships and how the audience can get involved or support BGAid. \nThe Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. During her 18 years with BGA\, Andrea has taken on progressively crucial leadership roles. Acting as the organization’s Chief Organizational Officer since 2022\, she has been instrumental in leading\, shaping and acquiring funding for BGA programming\, particularly in the areas of shelter\, foster care and permanent housing. Andrea approaches her work with a passion for advocating for young people and their families to establish permanent\, healthy relationships and stable housing.  \nA long-time Oregon resident\, Andrea earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Anthropology at Lewis & Clark College and a Master’s of Science of Communication from Portland State University. As part of her community involvement and advocacy for youth\, Andrea has been a long-time member of several Washington County advocacy and implementation committees.

DESCRIPTION:Elise Schaff Laubach\, Fund Development Manager at Family Promise of Tualatin Valley\, will discuss Family Promise of Tualatin Valley (FPTV).  FPTV is a non-profit organization that serves homeless children and their families. They\, and their network of religious and civic organizations\, provide families with safe sleeping space\, meals\, and access to resources. DESCRIPTION:Renee Brouse is the Rotary District 5100 Governor for 2023-24. The district follows the Oregon-Washington border from the Pacific Ocean to Idaho\, covering a northern slice of Oregon and a southern slice of Washington\, including the major cities of Portland\, Salem and Vancouver.  The District Governor visits all clubs\, each on a designated date\, during the course of the year\, to give updates on Rotary from the district and international perspective and to inspire clubs and members to higher success. \nThe Rotary Club of Wilsonville meets weekly Thursdays at noon to carry out its purpose of providing service and fellowship to members and the Wilsonville community. She has been active on the Service Committee\, International Service Committee\, and Fundraising Committee. She served as President of the Rotary Club of Sherwood in 2011-12.  \nAt the District level\, Renee served 4 years as Assistant Governor for Central Valley West; participated as part of the Vision Facilitation Team for several years; has been active on the PNW PETS team for 3 years\, plus providing coaching services for PETS facilitators. She was the District 5100 Trainer for 3 years. \nRenee is married to Rob Brouse\, and they have two kids: Brittany and Brandon. Brittany lives in Spokane with her family\, including Renee and Rob’s two grandchildren\, Kaison and Kamden. Brandon lives in Sherwood.  \nRenee and Rob have been active in the Youth Exchange Program since 2007. They are District 5100 Benefactors\, supporting The Rotary Foundation as Paul Harris Society and Bequest Society members. Renee enjoys camping\, traveling\, hiking\, and spending time with her grandkids. \nRenee is a proud graduate of Indiana University and studied for a Master’s in Business through Kennedy Western University. Renee has served in the Non-Profit sector since 1996. She also operates a professional development consulting business.  \nHer mission is to make a difference in the lives of others; her vision is to be the change she wants to see\, and her core values embrace belief\, responsibility\, lifelong learning\, empathy\, and service.

DESCRIPTION:Wilsonville City Attorney Amanda Guile-Hinman will review the City’s work in 2022 and 2023 to bring its local code into compliance with federal and state mandates requiring the City to adopt regulations for persons experiencing homelessness to camp on City property. She currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Wilsonville\, Oregon\, representing the City in a wide variety of contract\, litigation\, real estate\, and government law matters. Amanda is a graduate of Willamette University (Salem\, Ore.) and University of Denver Sturm College of Law (Denver\, Colo.).
