Omelet and Pancake Breakfasts

Wilsonville Rotary’s signature Omelet and Pancake Breakfasts are one of the club’s most prized and honored traditions of service. We provide the labor, the eggs and usually the other ingredients. All the public has to do is show up and enjoy a hot breakfast.

Our breakfasts are usually held to raise money for a good cause, but sometimes there’s no fundraising involved. Our recent Veterans Day breakfast in Charbonneau was all about honoring local volunteers, and a few times a year, we cook breakfast to feed hungry volunteers who are serving the community, such as the City’s annual WERK cleanup day. Either way, the breakfast is the same — you get a custom-made omelet with your choice of ingredients — cheese, ham, green peppers, fresh mushrooms and onions. Add to that our special-recipe hotcakes, plus juice and coffee, and you have yourself a complete meal.

Over the years, our signature omelet breakfasts have supported many great local causes. Local schools are a favorite. We’ve raised money to benefit students at Boones Ferry Primary School, Boeckman Creek Primary School, Lowrie Primary School, Wood Middle School and Wilsonville High School. Additionally, we’ve helped cook breakfast and raise money for Wilsonville Youth Sports. But our service doesn’t end at the city limits. We’ve raised money to help the victims of natural disasters both nationally and internationally.
